United States of America Flag Education

On June 14, 1777, the Marine Committee of the Continental Congress adopted a resolution that gave birth to our national flag. The resolution read:

"Resolved that the flag of the United States be made of 13 stripes, alternate red and white, that the union be 13 stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation."

Our Mission

This site is dedicated towards instructing the public on how the flag of the United States of America should be displayed, both for public and private viewing, and on staffs, windows and even worn on clothing.

The United States of America has seen a much needed resurgency in American Pride in recent years. And while that in and of itself is fantastic, many people never learned the basics of the flag display. And we are here to show you how.
